4- Time Region 7 Champ in XC (2x Team and 2x Individual)

State Title as a team in XC and 4A record (cum. time)

Team was 4th in the Southwest in 2012 and nearly made it NXN

3rd Team All-West in Footlocker

Herriman High Record Holder in the 3200m (9:17.63) and the 2000m Steeplechase (6:12.32)

4th in the 3200m at State

Qualified for Nationals in the 2000m Steeple.

4:24 in the 1600m

Team was Runner-Up in Track.

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Cross Country

  • Be top 5 on the team at every meet
  • Top 6 at the WAC Championships (Got injured the week of Conference so couldn't finish)
  • Top 30 at the XC Regional Race (Still injured with a stress fracture) 
  • Do my best at every meet

Track and Field (Outdoor)

  • 14:35 5,000m run
  • 3:52 1,500m run
  • 8:55 3,000m Steeple

Track and Field (Indoor) (Didn't get to run indoor because of injuries)

  • 8:45 3,000m run
  • 14:50 5,000m run
  • 4:15 Mile run

Long-Term Running Goals:

NCAA National Championship

Go to the Olympics on the US team.

Qualify for and run Boston Marathon

PM- Got to the meet did my warmup and some striders. I felt okay through the first half of the race but wednesdays workout got to me and I started to fade. I should be able to race after a tough workout but oh well, today was just a training day anyway.
