AM-7.5 Warmed up about a half a mile then went to the starting place of the state course. We did some striders and Barnes told us our workout. We were doing 10 quarter mile repeats with 2 minutes of recovery in between. We were around 70 on all of them except on the uphill parts we slowed to a 72-73. We ended up doing the first mile a second time because we went through the course so fast the first time. Then we did a mile and a half easy afterwards.

PM-4. Easy run with Mckay and Jesse J.

PM- 9. Warmed up 1.25 miles to Butterfield then did striders and got our workout. It was 8x600m repeats on the grass/gravel. We were 1:47 for the first two then dropped down to 1:45 for the next 4 then up to 1:46 and our last one was 1:45 again. Then I cooled down back to Rosecrest.

AM- 9. Got up at 6:00 and picked up Kami, Lucy and Connor and went to Provo to watch Region 8 championships. We got there and it was 33 degrees and put on our warm stuff. We ran the course for 2 miles then went on the road for the next four. We went down to BYUs campus and ran around and looked at buildings and talked about how cool it would be to run there. Got back to Kiwanis Park and watched Summer Harper win the girls title.

Went to the line and talked with some of the coaches and got our stop watches ready. Jake won and MV took the team title but Timpanogos was a close second. Drove back to Herriman and did another three with Connor up to Butterfield park.
