4- Time Region 7 Champ in XC (2x Team and 2x Individual)

State Title as a team in XC and 4A record (cum. time)

Team was 4th in the Southwest in 2012 and nearly made it NXN

3rd Team All-West in Footlocker

Herriman High Record Holder in the 3200m (9:17.63) and the 2000m Steeplechase (6:12.32)

4th in the 3200m at State

Qualified for Nationals in the 2000m Steeple.

4:24 in the 1600m

Team was Runner-Up in Track.

Cross Country

  • Be top 5 on the team at every meet
  • Top 6 at the WAC Championships (Got injured the week of Conference so couldn't finish)
  • Top 30 at the XC Regional Race (Still injured with a stress fracture) 
  • Do my best at every meet

Track and Field (Outdoor)

  • 14:35 5,000m run
  • 3:52 1,500m run
  • 8:55 3,000m Steeple

Track and Field (Indoor) (Didn't get to run indoor because of injuries)

 I'm writing this kind of late so its not as detailed as it could be. Woke up at 9:00 and headed to the bus. I just wanted to stay awake. I got off the bus ate some subway and then got back on and headed down to Cedar City. I warmed up for the meet and got

PM- warmed up 2 miles to Scera Park and did striders and idiot drills. The workout was 10x1000m at 3:17-3:00 My splits were like:

3:17, 3:11, 3:11, 3:10, 3:09, 3:08, 3:09, 3:07, 3:05, 3:03. I'm not sure these are 100% accurate but they were close enough.

2 mile cooldown.

PM- 2 mile warmup and idiot drills and striders. We did 4x Carterville hills which was on 1 and 3 we would sprint the hills and jog the flat and down hill and 2 and 4 we would tempo the flat and job the up and down hills. 1 mile cooldown afterwards.
